We have all of the basics covered for you with this efficiency cabin! The Kootenay is tucked into the trees. All of our cabins are at least 150 feet from one another so you have plenty of space to enjoy your stay.
This cabins was custom-built new in 2012 here in Montana for North Fork Cabins. This cabin is a wonderful lodging option for budget-minded guests wanting to stay in a clean, safe and secure accommodation with privacy.
The Kootenay cabin is compact, cute, clean and includes a private bathroom with a shower inside the cabin (hot water, of course). You’ll be comfortable, dry, warm and secure without the higher cost of a hotel or larger cabin, or sacrificing needed comforts while enjoying your Glacier National Park vacation.
Each cabin has a built-in propane gas heating system in the event of chilly weather. This makes for easy and quick comfort after a day of hiking in the mountains, fly-fishing the clear waters, floating the river, etc.
This cabin is equipped with an “on-demand, tankless, propane hot water heater” for immediate hot showers, etc. Linens (towels, sheets, pillows and blankets) are provided. Lighting in the Kootenay cabin is provided by battery operated lights in the cabin. We do recommend bringing your own flashlights/ headlamps for being outside at night or for your convenience for reading, etc.. This cabin doesn’t offer electric outlets. That’s part of the charm of being off the grid in the North Fork!
This cabin is offered for up to a three guest occupancy. It has a comfortable custom built-in Montana-made twin sized mattress bunk bed and a comfortable fold out leather futon, for restful sleeping during those cool Montana mountain
